About NLP Methodology
Break Free with Naomi is about enabling you to grow, change and excel.
While I am trained in and use a range of left-brain and right-brain approaches to guide you to where you want to be, one of my favorite modalities - having found it the most effective in this process - is Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
The key principles of NLP play a critical role in the transformational process I use with my clients, and they embody what I believe and how I work.
You have all the inner resources you need for change.
Everything you need to grow and transform is already within you. The answers are there; the motivation is there. But sometimes it is buried deep down within the subconscious mind. Through NLP, we uncover those resources and harness them. My role as a transformational coach is to facilitate your discovery and use of your own abilities
Channel your natural self-interest.
All humans have the innate desire to do what is best for themselves, to strive for what will bring them to happiness. Even behaviors which are obviously self-sabotaging or self-destructive are simply your current best attempt to achieve something you need. Through NLP, we can identify the need being fulfilled and train your subconscious mind to fulfill this need in a healthier, more productive way.
There is no failure in life; there are only opportunities to learn.
It doesn’t matter how bad things are. It doesn’t matter what happened to you or what you did. If you can take it and grow from it, that is a success and you are a success. Through NLP, we can reframe your experiences into constructive learning experiences that affect both the way you perceive your past and the way you act in your present and your future.
Ready to feel this process in action?
For over 20 years, I have been working with people aspiring to grow and change.
Two decades… and I never cease to marvel at each individual’s depth, breadth and ability to transform themselves.
I want to get to know, marvel at and appreciate your “about me”: your personality, experience, character, strengths, challenges and potential for excellence.
But before we get to your “about me,” I imagine you’d like to get an idea of who I am and what I can offer to your growth.
My professional life started in a very left-brain way. Education at Columbia University. B.S. in Computer Science. Software engineer at an international telecommunications company.
I liked it. I did well at it. I connected to the left-brain analytical approach with its scientific thinking.
But somehow, it wasn’t enough. It felt like only part of my “about me.”
So I expanded my professional life to include the right brain. I trained in massage therapy and shiatsu and worked for years as a massage therapist. I became certified in acupuncture. Perhaps most significantly, I learned NLP, culminating in certification as an NLP Master.
As I developed these different strengths and realms, I discovered that a major part of my “about me” is that it’s not “all about me.” It’s about harnessing my entire self - left brain and right brain, analytical thinking and deep compassion, knowledge about human potential and belief in the ability of each individual human to realize that potential - to help others.
My current work as a transformational coach, guide and facilitator is a deep expression of my “about me.”
I am a passionate believer in and constant witness to the ability of people to grow, change and excel.
I want that for you. And if you want it for yourself, we will devote the full range of my left-brain and right-brain skills to guide you - all the different parts of you - to where you want to be.
Be in touch to discuss your “about me” - and, more importantly, about where I can help you to grow, change and excel.
